Straight To Hell is back on CD as Straight to Hell Returns, and may have a lot more tracks this time, but it also deleted two tracks from the original release and shortens another track/5(11).

Jun 26,  · Directed by Alex Cox. With Sy Richardson, Joe Strummer, Dick Rude, Courtney Love. A gang of bank robbers with a suitcase full of money go to the desert to hide out. After burying the loot, they find their way to a surreal town full of cowboys who drink an awful lot of coffee. The townspeople are hostile to the outsiders at first, but seem to accept them once they've killed a couple of people.

And I'm more than happy to play them. 'Cause they're really well-made songs. They don't have sloppy bits where everything goes wobbly. And also you can expand on them. Like sometimes the Mescaleros do "Straight to Hell" - we can play it for three weeks.
