Flex-Able is an album by Steve worbolinkfercapi.matnavithowawhocotacomppumobath.co was his first as a solo artist, and was created in Stucco Blue, a shed converted into a studio in Vai's old back garden. It is very different from many of his other albums, and is largely influenced by Frank Zappa. Flex-Able does not rely as much on massive guitar arrangements and shred moments as the rest of his output from the s onwards, with the Genre: Progressive rock, experimental rock.

Dec 04,  · spectacular six-string pyrotechnics from yer man Vai, with way more humour, intelligence and soul than any of the other 'axe wizards' like Malmsteen, Vincent, Satriani et al. Recorded for fun in his home studio, without - as his sleeve notes state - any commercial pressures, this is by turns abstract and experimental and is as much fun to listen to as it sounds like Steve and his mates had /5().

Steve Vai Format: Audio CD. out of 5 stars 36 ratings. Flex-Able Leftovers Steve Vai. out of 5 stars Audio CD. Steve Vai illustrates the album's content perfectly. Yes, he does INDEED bend the guitar's neck, while a little green man goes zooming by and that's just the album's opening track! /5(36).
